  • How is this different from ADHD coaching?

We train ADHD coaches on our Executive Functioning Framework, which is aimed at supporting individuals with ADHD to make it work for them. Our clients are the experts in themselves! This course is aimed at providing education, tools and strategies for a wider audience, such as to raise ADHD awareness training within an entire workplace. Here, you'll become the expert!

  • Who recognises this qualification?

We do! Leanne Maskell created this course after learning how to train companies such as Microsoft and Google based off her own professional and personal experiences. She worked in mental health and disability law for 2.5 years, wrote 'ADHD: an A to Z' and 'ADHD Works at Work', and was diagnosed with ADHD herself at 25.

  • How long will this course take me to complete?

This course is designed to run over 6 weeks, with weekly 1.5 hour group training sessions. These are held at a certain time on Wednesdays and will be recorded incase you can't make any. There will be approximately 1-2 hours of online lessons to complete alongside the live sessions each week. This means that you can complete the lessons in the timeframe that works for you, with lifetime access to our lessons!

  • What can I do with this course?

Our ADHD Champion Trainers are primarily trained to train however they'd like to in their own personal capacities e.g running your own business or as part of your job. We may take on a limited number of trainers at the end of the course to work through us (as we have a huge amount of demand!), but you can still work with clients in your own capacity.

  • How do I qualify?

At the end of the course, you'll complete a short assessment on your skills to receive feedback and ensure you are fully ready to become a Certified ADHD Champion Trainer. Don't worry - we'll meet you where you're at! Afterwards, you'll receive your certificate and be featured on the ADHD Works website as a certified coach.

  • Do I have to be 'good' at public speaking to do this?

No! This course was created by Leanne Maskell, who was so scared of public speaking that she turned down training enquiries for a year. So if this is you, you're in good company! We'll teach you to learn the ways that training works for you, and to use your voice in these ADHD-friendly ways. The course is fully adaptable to you, and you'll be supported by a super friendly community.

  • What experience do I need?

None! You don't have to have ADHD, or any background in training - we'll teach you all the knowledge and skills you need to educate yourself and others (if you want to!).

Testimonials

“Leanne finds the perfect balance of professional and insightful, whilst also remaining incredibly authentic and personable in her approach. We found the event so helpful in terms of how we can be managing neurodiversity within the workplace, and many individual members have been in touch to say how much they enjoyed the event. I could not recommend Leanne more highly.”

Olivia Harris, True Search

“Leanne came in to speak at Yahoo about understanding, supporting and harnessing ADHD at work and I can not recommend Leanne highly enough. She kept everyone engaged throughout the event and her talk resonated with so many people. Leanne is a brilliant speaker and her expertise and knowledge is second to none. She is an amazing ADHD coach and a fantastic speaker. ”

Irene Henrikson, Yahoo

“We hosted an hour online talk with Leanne to learn more about experiences with ADHD and how we as a company can better support employees and clients who are neurodiverse. Leanne was informative, engaging, and hugely inspiring. We learned so much in how we can make simple changes for the better and Leanne was incredibly generous with her knowledge and sharing her own experiences to help us understand”
