We've got answers!
Anybody who wants to support people with ADHD - whether it's a full time career, additional to your existing expertise such as a coach, therapist, teacher or medical professional, or to help someone you care about, such as your children. Many of our students are neurodivergent themselves, but you don’t have to be! What matters most is that you care, you're curious, and you're committed to learning in an affirming, ethical way.
In short, this course covers the Executive Functioning framework and practical fundamentals of coaching, such as intro calls, structuring ADHD-friendly sessions, and marketing. Our Advanced AuDHD Course teaches the AuDHD Paradox Coaching Framework, with a deeper focus on the theory and neuroscience behind ADHD and autism, rather than the foundations of neuroaffirmative coaching in practice. If you're not sure, we'd recommend starting with the ADHD Coaching Course, to feel fully confident in the fundamentals - but it's up to you.
Lifetime access to 19.5 hours of CPD-certified training, including 98 lessons, 6 × 2-hour live sessions, and a complete coaching framework. You'll also get a 3-month preloaded Coach Accountable trial so you can easily apply our resources in practice straight away, your ADHD Coach Certification with a licence to use it in your marketing, and eligibility to join our ADHD Works coaching directory.
Yes - and many do. Training a member of your HR, wellbeing, or L&D team to deliver ADHD/AuDHD coaching internally is often a more sustainable investment than commissioning external coaches for every neurodivergent employee. It also builds permanent in-house capability for reasonable adjustments. Past organisational funders include the NHS, the Law Society of Scotland, and the DWP. We have free email templates to help with requesting this on www.adhdworks.info.
Yes - and many do! Like many respected professional programmes (including Harvard Medical School’s 6-week health coaching course), it’s not about how long you sit in a classroom, but how well the content is delivered - and how actively you apply it. We give you lifetime access to all lessons through our self-paced learning platform, so that you can revisit the content anytime and learn at a pace that works for your brain. We do education differently - ditching unnecessary tick-boxes without compromising on safety, all guided by our Ethical Compliance Framework tailored for neurodivergent people.
Yes - we offer a variety of scholarships on every live training course that we do. You can apply on www.adhdworks.info.
ADHD Works is a training provider member of both the Association for Coaching and CPD. We also train coaches on our Ethical Compliance Framework for ADHD and AuDHD coaches - we take the responsibility of working with vulnerable people extremely seriously and expect our coaches to do the same. We've coached thousands of neurodivergent people, and have built our trainings carefully to incorporate the foundations of safety, especially when practicing in a neuroaffirmative way within neurotypical environments. Leanne's also personally trained over 400 coaches, alongside publishing best-selling books such as 'ADHD: an A to Z' and 'AuDHD: Blooming Differently'.
No - and that's a deliberate choice. ICF training centres on a 'pure coaching' model, whereas we train coaches to use frameworks as optional menus, with specific ADHD exercises and psychoeducation that they can use for sessions. We don't mandate SMART goals or being a blank canvas, and believe the best learning happens by doing. Our CPD certification gives us the freedom to teach in this way, whilst ensuring institutional recognition from organisations and independent quality oversight.
The course is built around practical application of strategies and skills - not just theory - so by the end you're ready to actually coach ADHD clients, not just talk about them. Throughout the course, you'll provide and receive ADHD coaching on the framework yourself. We have global communities of students who use this certification in different ways - from within their own coaching or therapy business, to supporting colleagues within their workplace, setting up lessons in schools, supporting their own children, or simply to help themselves. You'll also learn about potential funding routes such as Access to Work and reasonable adjustments, along with accessing ongoing support such as neuroaffirmative supervision, ensuring a sustainable career path on your terms.
“I found a community of like minded individuals who made me feel the safest I've ever felt in a group environment. Leanne's ability to facilitate and guide a group of ADHD minds in one common direction is a skill to be admired. Her oneness with us takes all the fear out of the equation.”
“ A group of like minded non-judgmental people offering stories and peer support all struggling with the same issues from different walks of life. Leanne leads the sessions very fluidly allowing everyone to have their time and begins and ends each session with a reset and relaxation. Her approach is warming and genuine, really puts people at ease, and she offers lived experience. The structure of the daily resources being able to either do a little everyday or a good hour with yourself once a week is great for flexibility. I came in quiet, unsure, with an imposter telling me I needed to be better, and have left knowing my strengths, my confidence has grown, I left the final session feeling valued and reject that imposter voice. I feel I am in a position to began a really exciting new chapter in my life. ”
“I absolutely loved this course. The videos were just the right length and there was such great support throughout the course. I also learnt a ton and most importantly, have gained a lot more self-acceptance as a result.”
“This course was so brilliant! For someone who finds online learning quite difficult, this was perfect. It was super varied, which I found was great for holding attention over the 30 days and to learn in different ways. The 'lessons' were really engaging and then doing the activities alongside was a useful way to digest the information and applying it to how it works for you. Leanne's passion and knowledge hugely shines through, and topped off with the fun energy that comes across in this course! I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about ADHD and how to make it work for them.”
“The course was amazing! I was recently diagnosed with ADHD at 27 and it was so helpful to start my “journey” with this new diagnosis with this program. It helped me approach my ADHD with empowerment and curiosity vs judgement and blame.”
“The course offered me bite size encouraging and thought-provoking videos and prompts for journaling and exploring what ADHD looked like for me. I went from confused about whether a diagnosis makes any difference, to confident that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. I realised through the course that without understanding both the challenges and strengths I'd continue tripping myself up, living a rollercoaster life that was wearing me out. Whilst the course itself would have been enough - rich in facts, anecdotes and practical exercises, it was the weekly live coaching sessions that transformed my personal experience of discovering what ADHD meant for me. Listening to other experiences of living with ADHD, chatting about it with others and knowing that for an hour or so there'd be a judgement-free zone where you'd be with people who weren't looking at you sideways or glazing over as you tried to explain how weird you were feeling or crap your day had been because of your ADHD! It was like a tonic for my soul and Leanne goes out of her way to welcome us all, at whatever level we can participate that day. Lots of laughter, lots of healing around self-acceptance and tonnes of strategies for working with our brains and bodies, not against them. I know I am more resilient, better informed and equipped for doing this course and would recommend it to anyone who identifies with ADHD traits or who is curious to know more. ”
